This superb coin is the product of an exacting manufacturing process, which includes the use of specialized equipment to shape the dies and the laborious task of controlling the silver to ensure uniformity. The coin is presented in a special maple leaf shaped wooden case complete with a viewing window in the lid, allowing for this symbol of Canadian pride to be displayed and viewed anytime. Mintage is limited to only 15,000 pieces. GST/HST exempt.
The Design:
The coin is shaped as a maple leaf with fine engraving realistically representing the deep veins running through each of the leaf’s five pointed, tapering lobes. The coin is then enhanced with the rich colours of red, yellow, and orange to present the leaf in its most spectacular season of autumn.
