Description
Celebrate the September 2016 Royal Visit to Canada of heir to the throne Prince William together with his wife Kate and their children Prince George (age 3, also heir to the throne) and Princess Charlotte (age 1). As a pure silver coin issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is GST/HST exempt.
The Design:
This $20 proof .9999 fine silver coin will commemorate visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and features a full colour image of the Royal Family originally taken by photographer Chris Jelf. The image is framed by an outer rim that includes four engraved maple leaves to represent each member of this Royal Family, along with the engraved word “CANADA”, the face value “20 DOLLARS” and the year “2016”. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
