Description
This 2015 $20 fine silver coin has been designed as a “forever” commemorative of marriage. This coin has a diameter of 40mm, and weighs just over one troy ounce of 99.99% fine silver. Mintage is limited to 10,000 coins worldwide. As a pure silver coin struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is GST/HST exempt.
The Design:
In the background, one large heart is formed by the positioning of several lasered hearts of various sizes, much like a mosaic of heartfelt moments that are part of each and every love story. In the centre of the image, two gold-plated wedding bands are intertwined in a symbolic representation of two lives joining together to become one through the bonds of marriage. The front of the coin displays the words "CANADA", the year "2015", and the face value of "20 DOLLARS" around the rim.
