Description

This 2014 $20 pure silver coin features an interesting view of a Canadian maple tree, looking up from the base. The coin weighs just over one ounce of pure silver and has a limited mintage of just 7,500 pieces.  HST/GST exempt

 

The Design:

The coins is designed by Canadian artist Margaret Best who has created a breathtaking design of a maple tree at its springtime best. Its dynamic and unexpected viewpoint begins at the base of the trunk and leads the eye upwards towards the tree’s magnificent canopy beautifully enhanced in vivid hues of springtime green. A branch in the foreground provides the added perspective to bring the maple leaf’s distinctive shape into view.
