Description

This $20 fine silver coin features the iconic bison - a symbol of strength and an important part of the history of the Prairie region of Canada. Mintage is limited to just 7,500 coins worldwide. HST/GST exempt.

The Design:
The coin features a front facing portrait of the wood bison. Above the portrait the word "CANADA," the date "2014," and the face value of "20 DOLLARS." appear below.  Edge lettering is also featured on this coin with the words “1 oz fine silver 1 oz argent pur” engraved in a repeating pattern. The bison's distinctive shoulder hump stands in contrast to the darker coloured mane and the curved horns. The bison is standing still, its calm gaze fixed upon the intrusion.
