Description

This 2013 $20 pure silver coin features an interesting view of a Canadian maple tree, looking up from the base. The coin weighs just over one ounce of pure silver, and has a limited mintage of just 7,500 pieces.  As a pure silver coin struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is HST/GST exempt.     

 

The Design:

The coin is double struck with a near flawless proof finish, and includes full colour imagery. The dynamic viewpoint begins at the base of the trunk and leads the eye upwards towards the tree’s magnificent canopy of springtime green. A branch in the foreground provides the added perspective to bring the maple leaf’s distinctive shape into view.
