Introducing the first bullion coins promoting the Olympic Spirit. As Canada began its preparations for Vancouver 2010, the Royal Canadian Mint’s world-renowned Silver Maple Leaf bullion coins emerged as a fitting medium to celebrate the powerful symbolism of this precious metal. An historic agreement with the International Olympic Committee produced these ground-breaking bullion coins showcasing Canada’s defining winter sport, its rich aboriginal cultures, and the pride of Vancouver 2010. Mintage is limited to 4,000 sets. HST/GST exempt.

The Design:

This set includes three uniquely designed coins featuring an ice hockey player in full stride, a stylized maple leaf alongside the VANOC logo and a thunderbird.
