Description

The Five Blessings Commemorative Coin Set is issued by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority on behalf of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The set contains five silver coins, with designs based on themes of traditional Chinese blessings representing "May your wishes come true", "May every year bring a surplus", "Speedy success", "Flowers bloom for prosperity" and "May your stock turn over like a spinning wheel". The standard bauhinia design is featured on the obverse of each coin.

The coin set also features a pure gold medallion with a symbol depicting "Five blessings coming to one's door" on the reverse, and the bauhinia design of the Regional Emblem of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on the obverse.
