The Path to Knowledge 2000 Specimen Set features a unique commemorative $2 coin, issued by the Royal Canadian Mint to celebrate the turn of the millennium. Designed by artist Tony Bianco, in this special edition the traditional design of a lone polar bear is replaced by a female bear and her two cubs; an image crafted to symbolize the transfer of knowledge and wisdom between generations. The coin’s reverse is further distinguished by the inscription "Knowledge • Le Savoir". The set is presented in a book-style leatherette case, complete with an official certificate of authenticity.
