Description
In 1911, the Ottawa refinery opened to transform raw Yukon gold into world-class currency. To mark the centennial of this milestone, the Royal Canadian Mint released this limited-edition set. While Canada's original gold commerce was cut short by WWI, this collection revives that heritage. It pairs the iconic Gold Maple Leaf design with a medallion showcasing the 1912 coat-of-arms shield, offering a tangible link to the dawn of Canadian gold minting.
