Description

As Canada's most iconic emblem, the maple leaf graced the nation's coinage from Confederation until 1935. In 2004, the Royal Canadian Mint celebrated this heritage with a historic 5-coin silver proof set. Featuring a distinct Maple Leaf Privy Mark, this collection includes fractional weights of 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz, and 1/20 oz. Crafted in pure silver with a reverse proof finish, these were the very first fractional silver pieces to feature the Queen's effigy by Susanna Blunt.
