Celebrate 40 years of Top Gun™ with a dynamic 1 oz Silver Coloured Coin honouring the legendary film that brought fighter jets, unforgettable characters and the thrill of aerial combat to the big screen. Since its 1986 debut, Top Gun has become a defining piece of cinematic history, following Maverick through rivalry, loss, friendship and the pursuit of excellence at the elite flight school.

The colourful reverse captures the unmistakable Top Gun logo at the centre, framed by a fighter jet soaring overhead and the bold inscription “40 YEARS” below. A dramatic blue and red cloudscape creates the backdrop, while the iconic phrase “I FEEL THE NEED… THE NEED FOR SPEED” adds an unmistakable connection to the film’s legendary spirit. The Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark completes the design.

The obverse features the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, together with the coin’s weight, fineness, denomination and 2026 year-date.

A striking tribute to four decades of Top Gun, this silver collectible is an exciting addition for fans of the film, aviation and iconic movie memorabilia.
