This 2024 four-piece pure gold coin set is an exceptional tribute to the 45^th anniversary of its bullion Gold Maple Leaf counterpart first issued in 1979.  While this collector set and its bullion counterparts share a number of design elements that evoke the Maple Leaf’s reputation as a symbol of excellence, beauty, purity and innovation, this set features a unique maple leaf design and the original effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth by Arnold Machin used on the first gold maple leaf issue in 1979. 

The highlight of the set is a genuine grade AAA rich blue sapphire which shimmers like a droplet of dew falling from a leaf on the one ounce gold coin.  Mintage is limited to just 450 coins.  HST/GST exempt.

 All four coins are 99.99% pure gold and feature two sugar maple leaves on a twig, accompanied by the double dates “1979—2024” commemorating the 45^th or sapphire anniversary of Canada’s Gold Maple Leaf bullion coin. On the one ounce coin, a genuine AAA grade royal blue sapphire is shaped like a water droplet that elegantly falls from the largest engraved leaf.
